I’m impressed with myself. Today I started writing another short story, and although it will be a lot darker than the one I finished last week, I am pretty excited to write it.
If I can finish a third story before the end of this break, I will be infinitely impressed with myself. But I love these random bursts of creative writing. I welcome them with open arms.

A Recommendation
Just finished all two seasons of Downton Abbey, and I have to say that it was such an immense joy knowing that this show is out there. It has the elements of a great show: romance, an entertaining cast, a certain lady named Maggie Smith, plot twists, an element of freshness, and a satisfying temporary cure to my Anglophilia.
Seriously, please do check it out because I don’t think you will...

I Can be such a Mushhead
Yesterday evening, prior to hanging out with some amazing friends at a high school music alumni gathering, I went to see the Adventures of Tintin with my dad. Add in some amazing acting by Jamie Bell as the titular...

Day I: Beauty Abounds...Along the St. Lawrence
Every year for the past three years, I have been fortunate to be able to travel each August and April between my two homes—Fredericton, New Brunswick where I attend school and my hometown of Grimsby. My parents and sometimes my siblings accomplish this drive between the two in about eighteen hours (once we did it in one shot which was nice). I have had my grandmother and my uncle join along...

That question meme, for TRAVEL LOVERS!!
bewitchingbritain:
I shall only do one question meme. I haven’t ever done one before, so if they annoy you please please forgive and skip it. I shall list only ten, they are travel-related, and I would love to be asked them as well. If you are also a travel junkie, reblog if you’d like to be asked:
1. What is the most beautiful place you have travelled to?
2. Tell a travel...
